The Louisiana Society Order of Confederate Rose has a goal of dedicating at least one Louisiana Historical Marker each year.
It is desired that the markers will educate the public about their local history.
Louisiana is rich in History which is unknown to today's generations. We have dedicated markers at Chretien Point, the Mass Grave at the Battle of Bayou Borbeau, the Battle of Sterling Plantation , and the place where Pvt William Guhers won the Confederate Medal of Honor.
The
Louisiana Society Order of Confederate Rose dedicated a Louisiana State
