    The Louisiana Society Order of Confederate Rose (LASOCR) is an independent and autonomous organization dedicated to the preservation of Southern History, Confederate Symbols and Artifacts. The LASOCR acts as a support group to the Sons of Confederate Veterans and in particular to the local SCV camps within Louisiana. The LASOCR is non-profit, non-racial, non-political and non-sectarian.

    The LASOCR offers aid and support to the SCV in all of their worthy endeavors to protect and promote Confederate Heritage and in particular the preservation of Confederate Symbols. In addition, the Society as a whole, and each Chapter independently, strive to further the causes of Preservation and Protection of Southern History, Symbols and Artifacts through Educational Activities as well as Benevolent and Social Functions.


 Membership is open to all, ten years of age and older, regardless of lineage and gender who wishes to support the goals and activities of the LASOCR and their endeavors to Preserve and Protect Southern Heritage and Southern Pride.
